A childhood bedroom is a place of wonder and fun. But it can also be a source of tears and tantrums.
It’s certainly no great secret that getting our little ones to bed can sometimes be a stressful time of day, but fear not!

Stylish Child’s Bedroom Ideas
For the budding Princess in the family then look no further than the stunning Charlotte collection from one of our favourite designers Feather and Black. This beautifully crafted bed adorns a lightly coloured head and foot board and looks simply perfect teamed up with pretty creams and pinks (such as the Joules floral quilt from their accessory range) and would definitely lend itself to a lovely chandelier (or even the Safi table lamp for something a little more unusual and perfectly ‘grown up’). Of course, not every family has their own wannabe Princess so if it’s more of a Captain’s look you’re after, then ahoy me hearties - we’ve got that one covered too!

Whilst this trendy little number can certainly be used by girls as well, our designers automatically conjured up thoughts of all things nautical; not least of all because of its beautiful beached timber and detachable ladder for your little legs to quite literally climb aboard! And if you’re really going full steam ahead then why not carry the pirate theme even further with the funky Rodnik Shark Fin Chair from Made! Talk about having a whale of a time, this fun and funky addition - shown here with matching nautical accesories - is definitely no small fry when it comes to making a massive statement in any room of the house!
Of course, one of the key things to remember when designing the ultimate kids’ room is to incorporate as much storage as possible (but without making it too obvious!); so why not keep it fun by adding the blue metal storage trunk from Habitat as your very own treasure chest? Not only will it add to the whole nautical theme but it’s also perfect for keeping that pirate hat dust free and ready to live another adventure!
